What is a snuffle mat?
It’s a fabric mat with places to hide dry food. Your pet uses their nose to find the bites tucked among the folds, turning treat time into a foraging game.
What can I put in it?
Use small dry treats or part of their normal kibble portion. Avoid wet or sticky food, and keep treats within your pet’s daily food allowance.
Is it suitable for my dog?
The mat measures 42 × 42 cm. It’s designed for supervised sniffing and foraging. If your dog tends to chew or swallow fabric, this activity may not be a good fit. Introduce it gently and watch how they play.
Can I leave my dog alone with it?
Stay nearby during every session. Remove the mat if your pet starts chewing, tearing or pulling at it, and store it away once the food has been found.
How should I clean it?
